The idea for Promo wasn’t born in a corporate boardroom—it was born out of sheer operational frustration. As a creator and software developer, I spent years working at the intersection of media marketing and cloud engineering. During that time, I witnessed a massive, glaring disparity: while the creators themselves were building cutting-edge content and scaling global audiences, the business systems supporting them were stuck in the early 2000s.

I watched brands waste weeks sending manual emails, copying follower numbers into outdated spreadsheet rows, and routing agreements through slow legal loops. On the other side, creator partners were left in limbo—submitting draft campaigns, waiting months for invoices to process, and constantly chasing agencies for milestone payouts. It became painfully obvious that the creator economy had a massive pipeline distribution problem. The system was relying on human intermediaries who added markup margins but very little operational value.

Rebuilding the Infrastructure

In 2026, I assembled a small team of engineers with a simple mission: **replace agencies with digital infrastructure**. We set out to build a platform that moves at the speed of the internet. We focused on three core engineering pillars:

• Direct API Data Integrations: Pulling real-time reach metrics directly from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. No manual screenshots, no fabricated engagement rates.
• Secure Escrow Protections: Building safe-hold transaction vaults. Brands fund the budget up front, and funds are automatically released to creators the moment content milestones are uploaded and validated.
• Real-Time Geocoding Discovery: Connecting brands and creators locally using OpenStreetMap tiles, allowing geographical community matchmaking in seconds.

Looking Ahead

Today, Promo is transforming from a beta sandbox into the default pipeline for creator marketing infrastructure. Our focus remains unchanged: keeping fees minimal, maximizing payout transparency, and building tools that allow both brands and creators to work autonomously without administrative friction.
